United Disciples Christian Church
UDCC supports Heifer international through it's yearly Heifer Market. Members can purchase either a portion of or a whole animal. Animals available for purchase consist of goats, pigs, a trio of rabbits, ducks, chicks, a heifer, camel, a water buffalo, llamas, fish, honey bees, etc. Heifer International in turn purchases the animals that are sent to families in other countries to help provide an animal as a means of making a living.

to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world.

Red Wagon Ministry
The red wagon ministry was started as a way to keep fresh the idea of helping those in need not only during the Holidays but throughout the entire year. Members fill the red wagon every Sunday with as much as 100 lbs. of food. Last year alone the red wagon ministry collected over 5000 pounds of food. The food is donated to the Network food pantry in Richardson and the Good Samaritan pantry in Garland.
