The Mary-Martha women's group meets in the Christian Life Center (CLC) conference room at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Thursday of the month for a light brunch, fellowship, and devotional study. All women are encouraged to attend.
SOUL SISTERS WOMEN’S GROUP
The Soul Sisters women's group meets in the Christian Life Center (CLC) conference room at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of the month for a covered dish meal, fellowship, and study. All women are encouraged to attend.
Meet Ana Julia Da Silva Xavier, our child sponsored through World Vision. Ana Julia is 6 years old and lives with her grandmother, sister and brother in Casa Grande, Brazil. Our sponsorship helps provide Ana Julia and her community with better health thanks to clean water, immunizations, and training in disease prevention, hygiene, and nutrition.
DISCIPLES WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The general manifestation of The Disciples Women’s Ministry is a conduit for diverse connections empowering each woman to find her voice and live out her call. Inspired by Micah 6:8, Disciples Women seek to act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
The UDCC Women’s Ministry includes a morning group and an evening group. The two groups meet individually and also corporately for special events, workshops, and combined projects.
The UDCC Women’s Ministry sponsors projects such as assembling Layettes for Parkland Hospital; preparing Christmas Stockings for the Juliette Fowler Communities; sponsoring a World Vision Child; collecting school supplies for local school districts; and collecting toiletries and necessary items for local women’s shelters.
Women’s Ministry participants also support church-wide missions including the Red Wagon Ministry, Kids Against Hunger, Heifer International, and Mike’s Kids.
